Traveling Overseas
Participants in our tour packages are encouraged to travel with an open mind, active curiosity and thoughtful courtesy to others. We believe that it is very important to maintain a positive attitude towards the people of the host country, their culture and way of life. Lodging and meals, particularly away from large metropolitan cities, may vary and be quite different from what you are used to at home. Enjoy them with a spirit of adventure, which is the reward of foreign travel.
Amoura Tours reserves the right to refuse service and/or terminate the participation of any tour participant whose health or mental condition or physical infirmity impedes the operation of the tour, or whose conduct is discourteous to others.
Reservations and Payment
A deposit of $500 will be required per person and is due at the time of booking . Final payment for all tour packages is due 30 days prior to departure date. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation if full payment is not received by the due date, and assess appropriate cancellation charges.
Refunds and Cancellations
Travel , Health and Cancellation Insurance
It is a condition of going on the trip that participants take out their own accident, health, travel and cancellation insurances before booking or at the time of booking this trip. Participation in the trip is conditional on you taking out your own above insurances and it is taken for granted that when you pay your deposit and book your trip that you have already taken out all the advised insurances options mentioned above. Neither the organizers of the trip nor Cairo Overnight Tours, it’s owners, it’s managers nor it’s staff accept any responsibility/liability for loss of /or damage to person/s, personal property while on this trip, in transit to or on excursions to/from sites or events organized by the organizers, Cairo Overnight Tours, nor do they accept liability for any loss of funds in the event of cancellation
Travel insurance is available. We strongly recommend and advise that you obtain travel insurance. Policies are available to cover loss or damage to luggage, medical emergencies that your regular insurance might not cover when you are overseas, travel interruption, trip cancellation and unforeseen expenses if you have to cancel your trip. Travel Guard from AIG is a recommended carrier but you are responsible for obtaining any travel insurance.
Not Included in Tour Price
Charges not mentioned elsewhere on this website: laundry, telephone calls, alcoholic beverages not included in tour meals, insurance of any kind, custom duties, visa fees, excess baggage charges, etc. and extra charges for food ordered a la carte or from room service. These charges must be paid directly to the hotel or restaurant.
Documents
Final documents and/or information and general material will be forwarded approximately 30 days prior to departure for booking of domestic flight.
Price Guarantee
Once your deposit is received your tour price is locked and guaranteed, so make sure you book early! If however for reasons beyond our control, any necessary or additional expenses arise, including any extra night accommodations, such expenses will be transferred on to you.
Meals
The majority of meals are included at specified hotel or restaurants as indicated in our itinerary.
Safety
Egypt is a safe country to travel despite the reports you hear in media outlets. There are general guidelines that you as a traveler must be aware of that apply to any country you visit. While in Cairo, we will be accompanied at all times by a representative of Egypt's Tourism Department as security for our group. This is provided not because of any danger or risk but to provide a level of comfort and security to our guests.
Responsibility
Amoura Tours , Cairo Overnight Tours, organizers, owners, and/or staff shall not be held responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions by any supplier or other party not directly owned by Amoura Tours, or by the failure of any equipment operated by any such supplier or other party. Amoura Tours, et all, shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person, property, or otherwise, in connection with any accommodations, transportation, or other services resulting directly or indirectly from any acts of God, dangers incident to the sea, fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars declared and undeclared, hostilities, civil disturbances, riots, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, default of any third parties, quarantine, medical or customs regulations, acts of terrorism, sickness, strikes, epidemics, criminal activity, or from any other causes resulting from insufficient or improperly issued passports, visas or other documents. Neither Amoura Tours. nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes. Amoura Tours responsibility to passengers carried in vehicles and aircraft for transfers, excursions and tours is governed by the laws of the respective countries in which the tours take place and no other country. All claims are subject only to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the cause of action arises.
The right is reserved to substitute hotels to alter itineraries. The right is also reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure. If any tour is cancelled prior to its departure date, Amoura Tours is liable only for a refund of monies received by Amoura Tours.
Amoura Tours reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any tour participant should such person's health or general deportment impede the operation of the tour. At that point a refund covering the unfinished part of the land tour will be made to such individual.
Amoura Tours accepts no responsibility for costs which may occur as a result of a participant failing to secure adequate insurance coverage, which is highly recommended. Since penalties can be extremely high, we strongly recommend you purchase trip protection for the money you invest in such a trip. Generally your health insurance does not cover expenses outside the USA. Amoura Tours will not be responsible for participants' visa fees and we will not offer any reimbursement of any additional expenditure if a participant is denied entry to a country for not having the proper passport requirements other than the entry visa to Egypt.
By embarking on his/her travel and by accepting the tour confirmation issued, the traveler voluntarily assumes all responsibility involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected.
The receipt of your deposit and/or full payment will indicate that you have read and consented to these terms and conditions of your own free will.

Refunds and Cancellations
- If you cancel after paying the deposit, the deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel 10 days or less before departure date there is a 50% cancellation fee of full tour package price. If the organizers cancel the trip (not foreseen at all) then the deposit is refunded to you. However, I have to again say you need to have cancellation insurance taken out to cover cost of your flights.
- Please bring non-slip flip-flops to wear in showers and bathrooms – this is essential.
- Participants agree to follow all health and safety advice and instructions given
- In the interest of safety – participants agree to always discuss with Julie their desires or intentions to deviate from the group activities or itinerary before taking action and to follow any advice given on such desires.
- In my own personal experience – to avail of the cheapest flights available they should be booked as soon as you place your deposit..
- The offer is subject to Terms & Conditions, E & OE, changes that might have to be made that we are unaware of at time of offer.
